Still a bit "caught up in the moment" (in more ways than one - I was locked in the bloody car park at the end of the evening!)

It's made a HUGE difference! It's a doddle to light compared to the old wicks - she raises steam loads quicker - pressure is now controllable and even though I'm still running in those new pistons she's running great, so it's a big shout of thanks to the CVLR

Great news Greg, I really rate those Bix burners & I'm glad you are having success with it too. As for locked in the car park, don't tell me they don't use a BR 1/16/17/221 & you would of had them!

Technically the main car park belongs to the fishing club

They don't usually lock it at all but tonight some clever angler decided to

Hee hee, the figure is actually a "Dick Tracey" toy with his hat and coat repainted, the light is another 99p purchase, a keyring torch with a superbright LED - but yes, I went back to the shop and bought another five sets of their "16mm coach / building lighting packs"

Meanwhile, talking of lights, there's been some activity down at Westwood Station as the decorations, including these pumpkin lights, are put in place for the Halloween Spooktacular Services!

Plenty of surprises in store for the visitors,

And a special visitor will be gracing the car park over the weekends festivities!

I'm pretty sure Mini B and his pals will be there, the last time I saw him he was with Fred, George & Cho (- his classmates I understand), and I'm certain that they were up to something!

Plenty of activity down Pentrich sidings at the moment, so I'm very confident that the excellent Snape Street Works carriages will be part of the Spooktacular rake
