The millie squeezes through the new buildings as she departs Warburton Road station and crosses church street.



Testing the shed again with new doors fitted and painted. Brickwork is comming along too.

Caradocs turn to squeeze through the gap. This time, work has progressed and the building on the left is complete. Of couse the subsidence is a bit of a problem! But in due couse it will have a proper base and the road will be built.



Inside the new shed. The brickwork on the front is well advanced now... Just a bit more to do and then the other end. Did I mention the sides? Lovely long shed with nice long plain sides to brick in. Joy!
Also, the builders seem to have mislaid their spirit level and gone rather askew with the brick work... mmm lots of sanding and repainting me thinks!

Staff member cleans the tubes... looks more like hes relieving himself to me!




A final 2009 shot of the line showing completed platform casting. Painting to do next! Will post some more pictures when I take some, but that will be over the easter break from uni...

WOW looks like it's become a lot more scenic and model like by the year!!

An visiting Accucraft Peacock rounds the bend into Somerton while the resident Caradoc looks on. Note the total lack of facilities here (no water tower, coaling stage or platforms!) and the partial completed state of both the signal box and the engine shed...

Lovely, it's great fun having open days! And that Peacock looks nice, just odd with the funny bunker (personally I'd be more inclined to attach a wagon with the bits in).
