After I found out an old friend and fellow modeller had passed away earlier this week I decided I would have a tribute to him, so named a crossing in his memory

The nameboard style is based on the original Leek and Manifold design

A short train was also run

Which later shunted the D class wagon into the goods shed out of the elements

We had our most southerly visitor at the line today

Its an Essel Dick Kerr loco, It has been left for detailing and finishing

Diesel looks well wierd, like a Stephen King does NG diesels type of thing! Of course if that was mine I would have it very rusty looking.

You'd never believe the railway has only been there a relatively short space of time, it's so well incorporated into the garden.

Stock is fantastic as well, but we'd expect nothing less

It has really helped that we gutted the garden and started a fresh. The railway was designed first then the garden designed to help it all blend in! glad that others think this has been a success

Its abit of both dan. Im going to give it another waft over tomorrow, it was the top of the can and seems to have gone a different shade when it dried.
