Thanks Lewis, Yes it is the timpdon welder.

There is also a red 'glowing hot metal' bulb on there too. I have made part of the 'lip' of the wagon out of clear plasticard so this glows red hot after the weld light.

armoured cable runs under the railway with junction boxes where buildings and street lights are. The buildings are lit by 12 volt bulbs and the whole circuit is running through resistors to drop the voltage down to 9 volts to give a warm glow

Its amazing how your railway is coming along Where do you find the time!! Matt! Ive wired my buildings up to the shed and Ive used one of those five way waterproof junction control boxes they use for fish ponds..as my pond pump and waterfall runs off it..you too have the problem I have and thats sealing the light within the building so it doesnt escape thro every nook and cranny...but its nothing major.. I like the detail and detail is becoming very fashionable today its catching! I got the pit crew kit and the tools are spot on!Still trying to work out where a F1 driver fits in though lol. The lathe Im trying to track down I think Ive seen one and I guess the height is adjusted to bring it into scale ..

Time is my 40 minutes I allow myself at lunch and evenings of hard graft and the fact my dad is also an excellent modeller and an ex electrician!

The Dinorwic Light Railway gifted the railway with a coach in need of some TLC (thanks Dan) So the group painted it green and made it volunteer accomadation!

While this was all going on Talyllyn was getting some test miles in.

I have half an IP coach kit I intend to 'leave' somewhere on my line when it's finished as a workman's hut or store.
