Very nice, must get those transfers for mine. Are the new ones any different to the old one that you built for me?

yes, they are different. castings are now in brass and wheels are slaters. They are slightly better to build now (more mating surfaces to solder).

Today a film crew arrived...Ok not a film crew, but a friend from the Echills Wood Railway who is a professional cinematographer.

No photos of work in progress but the yard was heaving with life!

That last photo looks like a narrow gauge version of Clapham Junction on a friday tea-time!

Seriously the wagons look superb, love the standard gauge wagon.

Oh & whats happened to the box cab chassis? Looks like flaking paint...

The box cab chassis has been like that since I bought it, I will repaint it one day!

I should have a loco more fitting with the stock next week

Havent looked at the thread recently, but things have definatley come on! The Boxcab and L&M Stock look fantastic, thats a lovely looking loco you have there.

The Yard looks nice and jammed pack in those last pictures too

Blimey Matt she's a lovely looking loco. So how does it run then & will it make it round your line??

Love the smokebox but has to be said it looks kinda odd matt with a gloss running board area.... Any plans? Windows are superb though..

Oh & yes, you will have to try & get that around my line!

Now that is very nice indeed. Bit of a soft spot for the railways of the Peak District generally, our family being from that area originally. (My grandfather spent his formative years poking around the remnants of the Peak Forest Tramway.)
