Well not alot has gotten done, but with the hydrulic test looming I had a session working on the loco.

With the saddle tank off for painting and the boiler fittings out, the boiler has had a flush out ready for putting the fittings back in a resealing the boiler.

Nice to see some progress. Those pipe runs are very neat, it must have been built with great care.

Yesterday after refitting the back head fittings and a quick clean up of the bushes the loco was taken for only it's second hydraulic test in its life, for a loco that is 25 at the end of September that's not many tests

I'm please to say that the hard work has paid off and she was issued with a 4 year hydraulic certificate.
It's now time to get some paint on the running boards and smoke box!

Not been very busy on here for ages & just caught up on this one. But I must say that is a right little beasty. Love it. Congrats on getting the certificate, look forward to seeing that running.

She is now waiting for her plates to arrive and to complete her steam test.

that looks excellent, I've just repainted my loco, and looking at yours, I do wonder if I chose the right colour!
