sleepers from the bure! Best track bed ever!!! (although the bure's track bed is rubbish due to the shale that was used!!)
The trucks look nice, I allways got the impression that playmobil;e was expensive for what it was.

Yeah well my raised border is made from sleepers from the Ratty!
And to aviod giving myself bungle points some nice paints jobs George

And I use sleepers too but I think they must be off somewhere on the Cornish mainline or something

You laugh, but...

This topic has certainly got me thinking that big, bogie diesels aren't all that common in 16mm scale. It's true that they're not all that common in full size either, but most 16mm railways are freelance anyway so why shouldn't we have them? I'm sure many British diesel prototypes could be adjusted to narrow gauge proportions in the same way as the Wisbech and Upwell trams frequently are.

Could this be an interesting future project for the MVR? Perhaps...but past experience has shown that turning ideas into reality takes a little while at Rutton, so don't hold your breath!

Anyway, back on topic...nice repaint, I'm sure the finished result will be very interesting!

Now, if you had an HST in GWR livery (lined Brunswick Green power cars, Chocolate & Cream coaches) then you MIGHT be talking!

BTW, did you know that it was proposed at one time to power the HST's with a Deltic engine at either end??

I think the Intercity Swallow HST 8+2 formation would work a treat, as I love that livery!

Even though that's a thought, getting a HST formation in the original GWR livery, interesting thought there!
