Ive aquired a box of Bond Wheels, Axel boxes and plastic box section so am slowly putting together a bogie to sit under the fire box..
the plan is to have it on a couple of biro springs aswell to help it along.

I have turned down the wheels a fair bit but im still trying to find the bit the points dont like... Im thinking of leving the flange hight and reducing its width as I think its catching on the frogs.

I have to admit my Garratt was put in the shade by this machine's incredible performance. However, no couplings!! So we can't assess it's pulling power - I suppose it could push instead...might even help to keep the front wheels down!

It does, origanally had a chain but converted it to run from a belt in about april time... was much more sucessfull....

must get the loco back together!!
