Not guilty, Your Grace. But yes, that was my impression of Mr Isle while he was here.IrishPeter:78171 wrote:* With no personal animus towards any short-arsed gits with Napoleon complexes who might be denizens of this board

Quite possible, just depends on the scale you used........Mr. Bond of the DVLR:78183 wrote:Have a captured a short person with a model that is tall? Is that even possible?
If he's 6' in 16mm scale, then he's only 4'4" in 7/8" scale, which is definitely in the height challenged category.
Looking at him, he's what we'd describe in Aust. as 'knee height to a bullant and twice as angry'.

He must have heard about my galavanting around the UK rail network, and wanted to do the same!Mr. Bond of the DVLR:79998 wrote:NEWS:
Victor Isle has been located and is safe. He will be catching the postal service to the CVLR on Monday. We may never know what he got up to during his weeks of disappearance... What do you think he got up to?

I'm so glad that I decided not to take part in this. What a total farce!Mr. Bond of the DVLR:81848 wrote:Not to worry anyone again but I haven't heard from Mr. Isle for a while am not sure where he's got to!
How difficult is it? You receive the figure, take some photo's and post it on, do your write-up on here and the job's done.
YOU asked to take part, and so took on the responsibility - why mess it up for everyone else involved by not bothering to get on with it?
There's really no excuse - if your line isn't "fit for purpose", tell Zach that you're not ready and get moved down the list - if you're expecting the figure and it hasn't arrived, tell Zach it's missing - if you posted the figure on, tell Zach when and where to.
This was meant to be a "community exercise" but the result so far is little more than an example of peoples self-centered attitude and total lack of responsibility.
Sad.
