So, with a very inactive year last year Garden railway wise), and very little time this year to get back out in the garden, Im having trouble mustering up the enthusiasm to get out in the garden this Easter and do some much needed maintenance. Work has continued to be very very busy, so if I dont undo this past winters damage now, I cant see me stealing away a few hours in the warmer months to run anything...

Very frustrating.

Things to do:

Check all bonding
Inspect and repair / replace damaged points
Clean track
Remove Seagull mess from parts of track

De-weed the beds
plant some color for the summer
garden vac winter debris
Replace Rechargable batteries in the Soloar lamps

Oh, maybe run a train or two

Yes, despite my schedule being punishing at the moment, I have a local gardener coming round for a general tidy. That should propel me into making some time over the coming weeks to do a few runs.

I have picked up quite a lot of new stock since the last run, and yesterdays delivery of the Bachmann Class 40 in green with sound is the one I am looking forward to most. It weighs a ton, and should have no problem with a full rake.
