WD Hunslet 4-6-0 to commemorate the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War perhaps?

Injin, that is sublime. Obviously scratchbuilt with true skill. I love the prototype and was lucky enough to see the repatriated example when it was on display at Locomotion at Shildon a few years ago. Hope to see it when it is back in steam, too.

However, in terms of Roundhouse production, with inside frames it wouldn't be gauge adjustable and would need two differing chassis, as did Taliesin, so I'm not sure how keen the factory would be.

Southwold or Blyth would be on my wish list, can't see it somehow.
If they did, I would be forced to change to 45mm gauge and start all over again. Plus sell the wife and send my son down the mines to fund it.
If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer!

I seriously cannot tell if that is 16mm or 3.5, 5 or 7.25 gauge, very impressive whatever the scale is!

Darjeeling c class could only be topped by a Beddgelert in my view. Both engines fit the proportions of roundhouse engines ie not too diminutive.

I wonder if roundhouse would ever produce a coal fired model. I would be surprised if they did, but it would be a great surprise.

Good taste injin.
Correct it would hopemountainrailway.

I like locos with cut down cabs i.e Barber, Corris etc and maybe this?
With a basic 0-4-0 chassis but with full detailed body it would be easy for them.

I would really like another 0-4-0 simple loco, good for first time buyers!
"So, when is this newfangled railway coming?"
"When we have enough money..."
"Where is this money coming from?"
"Havent thought that far..."

The loco was at Exeter last year, I think it was 5" gauge. I've no idea who built it though.........

Roundhouse do a couple of North American engines. I wonder how many people would like a model of a Montreal Locomotive Works 0-4-0 saddle-tank like these ones:

There was a railway in Canada called the "Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway" that was a lovely little line that would make a wonderful garden railway in 16mm scale. If your garden was big enough you could re-create the whole railway which was only a mile or two long! They originally used little Porters until their boilers failed inspections in the 1940s and purchased two new MLW engines like in the above picture.

The railway and its rolling stock are quaint and unique and not difficult to model. I think a Canadian prototype is long called-for!

Last year I thought Roundhouse would come up with a Special Edition of a Billy. Not thinking that the ordinary O&K-engine would drop out the classic-series. But Roundhouse did make a great modell of their Jack Special Edition.

I think the costs of developing a new modell of an exact 1:1 - engine are too high according to the payback and what the customers are willing to buy. Exact 1:1 - models are real nice, but how many would like to buy them nowadays? :?

Then I would hope for a new "Special Edition" of one the "classic's" in 2014. :D

Hope you're all enjoying the show...
