every railway needs a pub.had some off cuts of wood from work so made a pub.bit inspired by peter jones very good book making modle buildings for garden railways

the stone work is basa wood snaped and guled .the roof tiles are basa too. coverd the roof in plumbers type mastic to glue them on .going to cover the hone thing in pva a few times to make it more water proof .the gray colour was sprayed on jest to see what it looked like .the roof tiles look a bit rustic but I wanted that way to make it look old

That looks great, the rusticness is very....er....rustic!
All this talk of pubs is making me a bit thirsty though. Time for a pint of the old homebrew.:)

hope you all enjoy the pics lots of layers of glue and lots of paint starting to look quite good .iv taken a lot of the idears of what peter jones said to do in his book and it seams to of worked quite well going to make some more buildings like this

Those nihgtime shots really bring out the random stone courses. Can I suggest every country pub needs welcoming lamps in the windows? I always feel an irrestible draw to a country pub on a winter's afternoon with nice warm lamps in the window. Either that or, hic, I've a drink problem.
