Are there any R3 curves on yoru line?

Because most of your curves look really gentle.

Lovely piccies. I really like the church/chapel where did you get it or is it your own build?? It reminds me of the primary school the boys went to!! Think the MPLR needs a few more buildings.....

The green wriggley tin one? - it's a Model Town resin kit, but I built it with the entrance on one side rather than the end to "square it up" a little.
I think Sir Haydn built one as intended and you can see that on the on the Sherwood Oaks LR

Meanwhile, here's the final installment on the P.Way Dept rake - the works coach.
Once a part of the W&L passenger fleet, it had been retired as being "unfit for human habitation" ........... so we've given it to the P.Way gang

It had been severely grave robbed, the plastic roof was ripped off to access passenger figures and luxury seats for the new build 1st class compartment coach. The centre buffers had also been re-used.

One end compartment has no seats and carries tools, ladder and welding gear, the centre compartment is for "gangers" while the ex-1st compartment has a single seat and a table for the "gaffers"!

THe first and third of these latest pictures are just excellent. You can barely tell it's not real, right down to the chewing-gum dispenser on the platform.

TEASER

The Westwood & Loscoe Light Railway had the opportunity to visit another Forum railway yesterday and the specially commisioned headboard was in use for the first time!

An unexpected job has come in for today, so all will be revealed (with more photo's later)

Time to "reveal all"

Toad & Marion on DVLR metals assisting with the track construction.

DVLR staff supervising the works trains!

Marion clears the platform road....

to allow the "Westood Wanderer" into Woodbridge,

before running "specials" on the line.

And again, DVLR staff got involved!

2ft 9 and 3/4ins photo-call

Right then, after some seriously appreciated assistance from Sir Haydn, the Westwood & Loscoe Light Railway Co. are pleased to announce the arrival of a new loco!

I've been after one for as long as I can remember - after all, it just wouldn't be the W&L without a Beyer Peacock now would it?

I keep telling you GWR is best, looks like you have seen the light. Looks superb as well. So double heading with mine now, if its as powerful as mine is we are going to need more stock behind them.
