Our last "official" steam up calendared for this year meaned we had quite a large turnout today, along with some lovely Autumnal weather Even had some people down from Reading!

as for WHEAL yes it is the right spelling...used in Cornwall to prefix the name of a mine....the Cornwall groups layout is Wheal Steam...gedditt?

Kiddlywink means unlicenced drinking place, weeth,a field... ......and so on
