PTLR fest 2010 Report and pics

Well after the delay caused by the ash cloud PTLR fest went ahead today with attendance not too deminished by the change of date. Last year Peter Angus was in attendance, this year Andy Bell of Andel models was there showing off his latest releases and a couple of prototypes at the development stage

It was a great afternoon's session. I ike the pics Laalratty, particularly the one of Sammy & my Compton stock.
PS The wagon was reglued & is now fine Kes, honest   :shock: :D

Looked like fun :D
Shame I couldn't come but ended up been at Harrogte M.E.S and spent half the day looking and Mount Dowd (and bought some trimline :lol:)

Wow, some lovely locos there :D . Particularly liked the double fairlie of course, and the russell (currently saving for half of one) and also the countess. I see the steel ring on the smokebox has been painted black, in my opinion looks nicer and one of the things I am planning for mine.

Wow super piccies, that solar railcar looks interesting. I have seen the design before on a IP Lollypop Farm railcar though - but as a kit, would be awesome.

Looks like y'all had fun, one day I'll make it there lol!

I'd love to come along at some point in the future! That Solar powered rail car looks pretty amazing...

The ANLR stock takes to the track, with my Baguley Caeronwy Castle having a rare run out

A brilliant little Koppel from Andel, with enough speed to outrun a steam loco, it went from running in front of LMSjools "Lady of the Lake" to catching up the back of the Ladys train within just 2 or 3 laps!

Finally the PTLR was suprised and honoured to be graced by another visit from Gag Torton! :shock:

Midge, those are stunning shots, epecially the one of the L&B just off the viaduct and the one of the Excelsior in the station. :P

They're seven Chedder coaches & extremely heavy, but the Chedder Hercules with them had no trouble :D

i'm afraid that I was busy doing Uni work, had to hand it in this morning you see, but it does now mean that I have finished for summer, so plenty of time to do modelling and get my railway up to standard  :D
