Project England

Post by Sir haydn » Sat Apr 24, 2010 3:50 pm

After just getting back from wales I have had some inspiration. I am going to build an england tank. This will be built on a bertie chassis with RC on the regulator. I will be building a Large england tank in a perservation era guies, this gives me liecense to do what the hell I like with the livery and a few of the details :)

If it's half as good as Mr Munday's it'll be brilliant. For that matter, if it's half as good as the rest of the stuff you've done... it'll be brilliant!

well I have my bertie chassis and will help from Will and Geoff Munday I have my drawings for the loco complete but waiting on more details for the tender. the loco is scale although the ride hight is 3mm too high. I cant help this as I cant get the footplate to sit any lower.

Due to several rebuilds the current england engines have a scale of 13inches to the foot :)

Prince is, but Palmerston is not, Palmerston is a proper engine.
