Summer steamup at the Fairfield Railway

The Fairfield Ralway held its first summer steamup, and as is usual for the NWAG some interesting running resulted. Here are some pics

The FR proved itself perfect for oscillating cylinder locos, as PTLRcecils little "Jenny" went round happily with a goods train

The first of the double headed Lawley parings, with Winlatter and Jools tendered Lawley, Lady of the Lake

A bit of Ffestiniog Ffun, with Linda and Taliesin, and also my IP engineering non bowed bowsider

A good show of steam from Linda and Taliesin

Unfortunatly things did get a bit heated at times, and LMSjools makes his feelings known as SLRmidge has a caused a train jam.

2 different tender engines, Linda and Lady of the Lake

FRthunderbolts Roundhouse beck Zillertal, Blaze Away

Finally, the paring Lawley paring fans had been waiting litterally minuites for, Bungle's "Cumberland" and Matt's "Winlatter"

Seriously, that is a great photo of the Linda midge, can't help feeling that it would be better with a driver though

I agree, though not just for his Lady Anne, also for his other steamers. And a speed boost for his battery engines. And something to immobolise bluebottle, it would look nice as a plinthed loco
