The Ferring Light Railway - An Evening in Steam

Post by MTA » Thu Jul 02, 2009 7:47 am

Malcolm invited the fellow WSAG members (only I could make it!) to his garden line, and what a beautiful evening it was to have a steam up.

There were only two derailments, when my L&B bogie wagon pushed off the AnDel box van as the chopper was bearing against the coupling.

Then Malcolm's Pearse Countess dropped over the rails on the curve.

My Brandbright coach decided to detach itself when the coupling turned through 90 degrees :?

'Peaslake' ran like a sewing machine, as did Malcolm's Roundhouse VoR and Pearse Countess.

Here's the pics, there's a short video to come.

I did take some pics of Peaslake with the lamp lit in the dark, but unfortunately they were completely out of focus...

Luvvly

I would have liked to see a VOR and Countess together in the flesh.

Mildly green with envy. ;) 8)
