CME Norman "Hank" Bozzard has invited Tag Gorton and Fred Dibnah to view the latest engine from the Morgan works. Identical to baby Garratt "Rachel" and similar to the battery Garratt (both on this forum), Hank seems very pleased. However, this Garratt has been built for a fellow Gloucester member, so Hank wont be able to drive it... It is also (as I understand) going to be named Norfolk Hero, hence the lovely royal blue livery. It is powered by a single Binnie steam motor in the back bunker.
Many of you are probably wondering who Hank is? Hank was one of the original Gloucestershire Group 16mm members that my father met almost as soon as he started the hobby. A very knowledgeable gentleman and a firm lover of all things mechanical, capable of various impressions (a Westinghouse pump for example). He sadly died in 2008 and as a tribute, we had various Busybody models of him made! So Hank is still with us and can usually be found chatting to Fred next to the loco shed!
