Hullo everyone,
I've had a splendid year admining the forum again - so many great ideas and inspirational modellers here. I do enjoy reading every post here and so I'd like to say thank you and Merry Christmas from all on the DVLR.

Seasons greetings to all. Let's hope the winter isn't so hard as to bring traffic to a stand on our various railways. :santa:

Merry christmas and happy new year to everyone on the forum.
Hopefully Santa is bringing me some brass coach door handles for my WHR mystery coach, some first/ third class transfers and the new book on the WHR Bryngwyn branch. Is Santa bringing anyone else anything good?

Ok, so we didn't actually have any snow - I just de-frosted the freezer with a bread knife and collected it all up.

Season's greetings to all from a long standing 'bah humbug'.
The truth is I don't mind the few days before and after and Christmas day itself. The stretched out build up and the manic shopping events put me off big time. Sorry to be an old grump but this doesn't prevent me wishing others lots of fun.
I think it is because I'm too old to look forward to a crafty snog under the misletoe and with 4 grandchildren and two great grand children it gets a bit expensive.

Best wishes
Regards

As I don't have a suitably christmassy 16mm picture you'll have to make do with one of my miniature steam wagon.... Found a new use for the wagon. An electrically driven steam bar. If I fit radio control it can deliver the drinks without getting up from my chair...
